Wow. September's almost over. That happened fast.
I feel like all I've done these last few weeks is work! I haven't worked many extra hours, but my job's been pretty exhausting and stressful. By the time I get home, I don't want to do much of anything.
But I guess we've had a couple of moderately interesting things going on. Nothing super exciting, but probably worthy of a post.
A while back (feels like a really long time ago, but I think it was only a couple weeks), we had what may be our final hike of the season. We hiked Mount Sanitas near Boulder. Short and pretty easy, but fun.

At the top. It was pretty chilly and rainy. Signs that summer's almost gone.
I was having so much fun!
I was having so much fun!
Pretty.
September means the start of the football season, which is always a very exciting time for Matt. Our teams (Chiefs and Broncos) had their season openers at the same time on the same day. But Matt, with help from our DirecTV Sunday Ticket, solved the problem for us.
We had my family over for the games. Evie has already perfected her football watching pose:
And Pywacket was exhausted after playing with her new "toys" my mom brought her.
My weekends have still been taken up with performances of my current show, Born Yesterday. It's been a long run, but it's always fun to get to do a show with these people.
Me and my drunken attorney.
And finally, Matt's been trying to get into the Colorado fireworks "scene" after years of doing big shows in Kansas. Last weekend, he worked on a moderate-sized show in Frederick, Colorado.
